James Briggs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2020, at the age of 90, James Briggs (Erwin, Tennessee), born in Madison, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Briggs and Ennis Runnion Briggs; his wife Glenna Crain Briggs; and his siblings, Douglas, Charles Briggs, Dora Jean Briggs and Louise Eller.
He is survived by: his sister Barbara Ray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in memory of James to: Higgins Chapel Baptist Church, 1096 Upper Higgins Creek Road, Flag Pond, TN 37657 and/or Southside Freewill Baptist Church, 1313 Chestoa Pike, Erwin, TN 37650.
