Ima Jean Ramsey Hendrix Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ima Jean Ramsey Hendrix of Erwin, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Ramsey and Ruth Hensley Ramsey of Bee Log; her husband James "Jim" Hendrix; her son James Daniel "Danny" Hendrix; and her siblings, Ruby Ramsey Wilson, Glenn, Kenneth and Don Ray Ramsey.
She is survived by: her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Terri Hendrix of Erwin; her daughter Darlene Sheehan; her son-in-law Dennis Shelton of Erwin; her daughter Debra; her son-in-law Tommy Greene of Erwin; her brother Tate Ramsey; and her grandchildren, Tim Sheehan II, Jake Campbell, Mike Sheehan, Stephen Hendrix II and Amanda Hendrix Bynion. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Mrs. Hendrix to: Southside Freewill Baptist Church, 1313 Chestoa Pike, Erwin, TN 37650.
