He is survived by: his wife Brenda Harris Metcalf; his children, Randy Metcalf (Tracie) of Erwin and Sherry Webb (Ray) of Erwin; his brother Jack Metcalf of Erwin; his grandchildren, Cody Metcalf (Heather), Whitney Webb (Dylan Edwards), Tyler Metcalf and Haley Shelley (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Regan Duty, Kyleigh Metcalf, Easton Metcalf, Raleigh Duty, Blakely Metcalf and Hendon Shelley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
