It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Jenkins (Erwin, Tennessee), who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Howard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Jenkins and Leakie Whitt Jenkins; his wife Yuvonda Metcalf Jenkins; and his siblings, Ricky Jenkins, Rebecca Jenkins Ray and Helen Jenkins Letner.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Jenkins and Joey Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Emily Shelton and Mason Shelton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the State Line Cemetery.
