He was predeceased by: his parent Alonzo Shelton; his child Naomi Hensley Shelton; his wife Esta Charlene Shelton; his son Leonard Allen "Buddy" Shelton; his stepdaughter Angela Shelton; and his siblings, Elzie Shelton, Atmon Shelton, Bewley Shelton, Fairley Shelton and Linda Ann "Sis" Williams.
He is survived by: his parent Almettie Shelton; his daughters, Flora Kay Shelton and LaVana Gaye Church; his grandchildren, Tamara Wilson, Matthew Shelton, Savannah Church and Dawson Church; his great grandchild Hannah Collins; his stepchildren, Pamela King, Carol Bernice Sanders and Robert Shelton of Louis Shelton; his stepgrandchildren, Landon King, Whitney Jones, Jeremiah Shelton, Austin Shelton, Avery Shelton, Taylor Sanders, Levi Jones, Ella Jones and Adalyn Jones; his siblings, Steve Shelton, Hildon Shelton, Freemon Shelton, Glen Shelton and Molly Hensley; and also Several. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
