He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter Grubbs and Gladys Masters Grubbs; and his wife Martha Tester Grubbs. He is survived by: his sisters, Phyllis Harrell of Erwin and Lynda Phillips (Ed) of Unicoi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
