He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Christine Coffey Rice of Arizona; his grandchildren, Areona E. Rice and A. J. Rice; his sister Teresa Coffey Gillette (Dennis) of Johnson City; his nephews, Robert Brandon Hall (Whisper) of Orlando, FL, Scott Hall of Johnson City and Kalin J. P. Miller of Johnson City; and his close friend Connie Moore Knowles of Greeneville, TN.. He was also cherished by 4 great-grandchildren.
