He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Harris and Bertie Hicks Harris. He is survived by: his wife Myra Lynn Powers Harris; his children, Lisa Tipton (John), Joel Harris (Toni) and Kerry Casteel (William); his grandchildren, Annie Horn (Jamie) of Erwin, Seth Honeycutt of Erwin and Damon Harris of Erwin; and his brothers, James Harris (Paula) of Woodbine, NJ and Wesley Harris (Mary) of Genesco, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
