He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen English and Georgie Williams (Lewis). He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth English (Williams); his sister Glenna Kay Effler; his children, Michelle Zundel, Janet and Howard Townsend; and his grandchildren, Zane (Courtney Zundel), Jesse Zundel (Alicia Gordon), Brian (Jennifer Townsend) and Samantha (Derrick Townsend). He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
