He is survived by: his wife Helen Shell; his daughters, Darlene Blankenship (Roger) and Debbie Smith (Ricky); his grandchildren, Adam Lee Blankenship (Jenifer), Jessica Lynn Jones (Lucas) and Corey Paul Smith (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Luke "Baby Bear" Smith and Barrett Benjamin Jones; and his brothers, Darrell Shell and Dennis Shell.
