He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurnie Allen and Allie Harris Allen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jane "Patsy" Lewis Allen; his children, Kevin Allen of Erwin and Melanie Allen Smith (Steven) of Erwin; his grandchildren, Lily Smith, Kaden Allen and Allie Smith; and his nephew Tracy Allen. He is also survived by one brother-in-law, many sisters-in-law and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
