She was predeceased by: her parents, Roxie Booker and Charlie Booker; her husband Charles W. Payne; and her son George "Willie" Payne. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Payne (Shawn Miller), Emma Charlene Whaley (Michael), Ida Merie Tester, Joyce Coomer (Charles), Charles "Eddie" Payne, David Payne and Christopher Payne; and her siblings, David Booker (Betty) and Louise Stout. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
