It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Shaffer of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dempsey Haney and Betsy Engle Haney; and her siblings, Jack Hearne and Betty Jo Kirby. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Ann Grindstaff of Greeneville and Gail Bishop (Eddie Eidson, Jr.) of Greeneville; and her sister Mary Shook of Erwin. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
