She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewie J. McIntyre and Eva Mae Holcomb Beals; her husband Dennis Eugene Sparks; and her stepfather Alvin Beals. She is survived by: her son Dennis James Sparks of Erwin; her sister Irebelle Patterson of Columbus, OH; her sisters-in-law, Patsy Sparks of Erwin, Alice Sparks of Erwin and Berdi Sparks of Erwin; and her nephews, Steven Sparks (Tanya) and Todd Rogers (Vikki). She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
