It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie Whaley (Erwin, Tennessee), who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whaley and Stacy Bowman Whaley; her daughters, Judith Ann Fowler (Judy) and Sandra Jean Roberts (Sandy); her grandson Keith Fowler; her siblings, Ethel Arrowood (Whaley) and Elmer Lloyd Whaley; and her nephew Clarence Whaley.
She is survived by: her wife Louise Whaley (McInturff); and her children, Rita Perry (James) and Bill Whaley (Teresa). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Church of Christ in Jonesborough, TN.
