It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dortha Mae Robinette of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Yates and Edith Laws Yates; and her brother David Lane. She is survived by: her children, Gene "Robby" Robinette (Pam) of Erwin, TN and Donna Pate (Jerome) of Cocoa, Florida; her grandchildren, David Butler (Addie) of Alliance, OH, Ginger Matson (James) of Erwin, Chelsia Satterfield (Xavier) of Greer, SC and Bethany Pate of Eustis, FL; her great grandchildren, Zech Matson, Ben Matson, Presley Butler, Bristol Satterfield, Bella Pate and Maizy Pate; her brother Johnny Lee Yates (Phoebe) of Johnson City; and her cousin Brenda Jones (Shawn). She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Unicoi County Animal Shelter, 185 N. Industrial Drive, Erwin, TN 37650.
