He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles Vetas and Helen Gouvas Vetas; and his brother Gus Vetas. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Church Vetas; his children, Chuck Vetas (Melissa) of Weaverville, NC, Heidi Flood (Mackie) of Campobello, SC and Jamie Penley (John); his brother Spiro Vetas (Ann) of Charleston, SC; and his grandchildren, Lane Penley of Inman, SC, Tanner Flood of Bonneau, SC, Gracie Vetas of Weaverville, NC and Jordan Read (Lewis) of Santa Clarita, CA..
