He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Edwards Rice. He is survived by: his son Joshua "Josh" Carroll Rice of Erwin; his sisters, Paulette Farnor (Cadez) of Bulls Gap and Phyllis Whitson of Erwin; his niece Miriam Evans (Allen) of Bulls Gap; his nephew Shane Farnor of Yamhill, OR; his great-niece Addison Evans; and his former wife Lori Rice. He is also survived by her children, and her grandchildren; several other special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carroll's beloved church: Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, 1221 North Main Avenue, Erwin, Tennessee 37650.
