She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwards Thorp and Mabel Peak Thorp; her husband Scotty " Scotty" Currington of Tennessee; her daughter Angie Whaley Hale; and her siblings, Jeffery Ledford and Karen Edwards Roland.
She is survived by: her son Brian Furches of Erwin; and her sisters-in-law, Joy Currington Jones (Andrew) and Shelly Currington Webb (Billy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
