She is survived by: her children, Teresa Ann Congdon (Warren Douglas Congdon, Jr.) of Johnson City, TN, Fanny Lynne Williams (Hiram Lee Williams, Jr.) of Unicoi, TN and Samuel David Barnett (DeAnna Pickel Barnett) of Johnson City, TN.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Pleasant (Jordan Scott Pleasant) of Johnson City, TN, Allen Chase Williams (Cheyenne Paige Delffs) of Erwin, TN, Sydney Brooke Marsh (Joshua Lee Marsh) of Gray, TN, Garrett of Johnson City, TN., Andrew of Johnson City, TN. and Madison Barnett of Johnson City, TN.; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Grant Pleasant of Johnson City, TN.; her siblings, Bessie Taylor (Kenneth) of Jonesborough, TN, Gail Hoilman of Bakersville, NC, Carolyn Hill of Bakersville, NC, Margret Givens of Roan Mountain, NC, Ralph Hill (Darlene) of Buladean, NC and Roy Hill (Cynthia) of Buladean, NC; and her brothers-in-law, Ted Barnett, Doc Callahan, Sammy Smith, Darrell Hammett, Bob Sheets, JC Sheets and Kenneth Givens.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (540 Adams St, Erwin, TN 37650). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:50 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
