He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Preston and Edith Campbell Carpenter; and his siblings, Spud Carpenter, Charlie Carpenter (Pauline) and Betty Tipton (Dorsey).
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Morgan, Ricky Preston Bechard, Pam McQuoid, Randy Mitchell Bechard and Helen Frost. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 the family will have a small private memorial service later.
