It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara J. Peterson of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gordon L. Peterson; her parents, Tom Metcalf and Hattie Metcalf; her parents-in-law, Philmore and Elizabeth Peterson; her grandson Chris Bailey; her siblings, Tommy, Bill, Robert Metcalf, Betty, Ernestine and Earline; her children, Greg Peterson of Knoxville, Cynthia "Cindy" (Arthur Warner) and Beverly (Jim Buchanan); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Lucero of Greeley, CO, Troy Bennett, Mike "Mikie" Bailey, Gordon Bailey of Colorado Springs, CO and Cerissa Warner-Lawson of Johnson City, TN.. She was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the family's request, we respectfully request that anyone attending services wear a mask or face covering at all times and observe all social distancing guidelines.
