He is survived by: his wife Kathy Steppee; his children, Trina Snider (Jim), Michelle Lynch and David Steppee (Jackie); his siblings, Betty Rye, Terry Steppee and Janice Brooks (Charles); and his grandchildren, Katie Snider Richardson (Daniel), John Andrew Snider (Emma), Alex Snider (Michaela), Billy Sims (Molly), Daniel Sims (Lacey), Jessica Smith (Trent), Madison Steppee (Sam), Kara Steppee and Isaac Steppee. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
