He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas Barfield Sr. and Ruth Proctor Barfield; his grandson Hudson Grey; and his pet Peppper. He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Barfield; his children, William "Cory" Barfield (Mary Beth), Michael "Dallas" Barfield (Kelley), Crystal Manners Scarborough (Ben) and Misty A Wyatt (James); his grandchildren, Muranda, Alex, Emma, Cassie, Bret, Isabel, Madison, Aaron, Levi, Tori, Lilah, Willa and Oliver; and his siblings, Nancy Elizabeth Cox (Roger), Sandra Borchard (Charles) and Perry Barfield (Donna).
