She was predeceased by: her parents, Carter Tanner and Bessie Tanner; her husband Tommy Lewis; her son Ronnie Lewis; her granddaughter Shelly Look; her siblings, Ruby Self, Lilly Mai Self, Gwen Self, Faye Tomlinson, Virgie Marie Tanner, Ewing Tanner and Willie Ray Tanner; and her close friend W. T. Sorrells.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marty Lewis of Riverview and Darline Flatt of Erin, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Tania (Steve), Brenda (Bob), Steve (Jill), Ronnie (Linda), Reanna (Eric), Jody (late Rodney), Justin (Tiffany), Sherry, Rhonda and Tracy; her siblings, Leola Mathis (late Glenn), Shirley Hooper (Charles), Artie Tanner and Virgil Tanner; and her daughters, Betsy and Brenda Sorrells. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
