He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Dillard Hastings and Margaret Wiseman Hastings; and his son Sean Eric Hastings. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hastings; his sons, Ronald Eugene Hastings and Rodney Edward Hastings (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kelsey Hastings (Nick), Brandon Hastings (Lucy), Nicholas Hastings, Kaitlyn Hastings and Ashyn Hastings; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Hastings, Kyra Hastings, Raelynn Nagle and Wyatt Hastings.
