He was predeceased by: his parents, Birchie Averitte and Eura Jean Averitte; and his siblings, Bonnie Brooks and Randy Averitte. He is survived by: his wife Lela Ann Black Averitte; his sons, Jeff Averitte (Cathy) and Brandon Averitte (Kristan); and his granddaughters, London Averitte and Berkley Averitte.
