He was predeceased by: his parent J. V. Averitt; and his brother Kim Ashley Averitt. He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Averitt; his spouse Becky Lynn Averitt; his children, Leeza Averitt Osborne (Dewayne) and Brad Averitt (Lesleigh); and his grandson Brody Osborne.
