She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Addie Brooks; her husband Wade Stringfield; her children, Bobby Stringfield, Carolyn Stringfield Carter, Patricia Stringfield and Linda Stringfield Knight; and her sons-in-law, Norman Knight, Jimmy Powers and Roy Baggett.
She is survived by: her children, James Stringfield (Marylee Carter), Cathey Stringfield Powers and Sherry Stringfield Baggett; and her son-in-law Robert Carter. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
