She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sylvester and Emma Sylvester; her husband Grover Self; her daughters, Karen Self and Shelia Self; and her son-in-law Eddie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Self (Dianne), Terry Self (Dottie J.), Kenneth Self (Dottie E.), Claudette Johnson and Darlene Tanner (Randy). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and ten great great-grandchildren.
