He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. Baylor and Nellie Claxton; and his brothers, E. H. Hamilton, Bruce Hamilton and Billy Baylor.

He is survived by: his wife Fay Baylor; his daughter Loretta Rife; his son-in-law Chuck Rife; his sisters, Juanita Dowdy and Bettye Tieson; his grandson Scott Rife (Amber); and his great grandchild Harper Rife.
