He is survived by: his children, Donald Burdette (Becky), Shelby Curtis (Jeff) and Terri Black; and his siblings, Jo Abbott, Junior Burdette, Danny Burdette and Ricky Burdette. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
