He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hankins; his children, Jamie Hankins (Angie), Jeremy Shay Hankins (Pamela), Holly Elizabeth Pollard (Matt), Jerret Hankins (Caitlin) and Jerison Dean Hankins; his stepchildren, Dominic Arroyo (Kayla), Monica Kelchner (Jessie) and Madison Eguires; his mother Patsy Blackwell; and his sisters, Pam Barfield (Bill) and Joy Baggett (Tony). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
