She was predeceased by: her parents, Claiborne Averitt and Margaret Pauline Averitt. She is survived by: her husband John Robert Coleman; her daughter Robin Coleman; and her sister Sherry Milton (Jack).

Due to the recent pandemic, private graveside services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
