He was predeceased by: his daughter Joy Lynn Nolen; his wife Laverne Harris Young of Clarksville; and his siblings, George Nolen, Cornelius Nolen (Bo), Doris Adams, Susie Lee Dowdy, Hugh Thomas Nolen and Sallye Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Nolen (Rhonda), Joel Nolen (Sherry), Ginger Nolen Fussell (Sandy), Linda Young Harris (Donald), Randy Young (Susan) and Michael Young (Sherry); and his sibling Guinn Nolen (Mary). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
