She was predeceased by: her parents, Looney Reynolds and Nettie Clark Reynolds; and her son James C. Mathis. She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Mullins (Matthew); her brother Dean Reynolds; her daughter-in-law Sharon Mathis; and her grandchildren, Pagent Mathis, Chucky Mathis, Samantha Walker (Nathan), Myra McKinley (Eddie) and Ricky Mullins (Elizabeth). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren.
