He was predeceased by: his parents, Velmore Cooksey and Laura Cooksey; and his son Brian Marable. He is survived by: his children, Chris Marable and Kevin Marable; and his siblings, Marshall Cooksey, John Cooksey, Earl Cooksey, Janet Kyser, Velma Cooksey, Loretta Braford, Shelia Grice and Willie Ramey. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
