He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Pankow, Sr. and Genevieve Callen Pankow; and his brothers, Dave Pankow, Kenny Lewis, Ray Lewis and Richard Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Marshetta Pankow of Enville; his daughters, Michelle Gatley (Kevin) of Sweetlips and Amada Schultz (Mickey) of Kansas City, Kansas; his stepsons, James Welch, Jr. (Brittany) of Cookville and Jonathan Welch of Germany; his siblings, Bonnie Billoni (Tom) of Huntsville, AL, Laura Lewis (Ryan) of Chicago, IL, Ginger Gwenn of Kansas City, OK and Roger Pankow of Lafayette, IN.; and his grandson Alex Gately.
