She was predeceased by: her husband Greely Torbett; her parents, Charlie Derrick and Vennie Derrick; and her siblings, Donnie Mae Derrick, Richard Derrick, Robert Lee Derrick, Lucille Derrick Zimmerman, Curtis Derrick, Ori Claude Derrick and Mary Sue Derrick Gibson.
She is survived by: her brother E. L. Derrick; and her grandson Derrick Akins. She is also survived by his granny; several nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
