He was predeceased by: his son Terry Lynn Saffles. He is survived by: his wife Maybell Harris Saffles of Englewood; his daughter Cheryl; his son-in-law Frank Erwin of Nashville; his grandson Christopher Terry Erwin of Nashville; and his brothers, Larry Saffles (Becky) of Knoxville and Richard Saffles of Knoxville.
