She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sherwood and Hazel Crowe Sherwood; her husband James Edward Clowers (Grady Ratledge); and her siblings, Buck Sherwood, Mary Clowers and Betty Moates.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Russell of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Kaylyn Russell and Ryan Russell of Clarksville; and her sisters, Shirley Patterson of Athens and Rosie Martin of Athens Along. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
