He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Purcell and Juliet Purcell. He is survived by: his wife Debra Lee Purcell; his children, Carolyn A. Purcell of Nashville and Robert M. Purcell; his daughter-in-law Angela Purcell; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Easton and Isaiah Purcell of Niota, TN; his brother Phillip; and his sister-in-law Cecilia Purcell of Darnestown, MD..
