She was predeceased by: her father Curtis T. Peterson; and her brother Curtis T. Peterson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Austin of Englewood; her mother Carol Peterson of Athens; her sons, Nicholas J. Austin (Hailey Austin) of Athens and Nathaniel C. Austin of Cincinnati, OH; and her grandson Asher James Austin.
