She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Cross Witt; her fiancé Gary Smith; her grandparents, Mary, Thaddeus B. Cross, John "Pappaw" and Marie Witt; her nephew James Austin Gay; and her great-niece Cassidy A. Witt.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Witt of Englewood; her father Johnny Witt of Etowah; her siblings, Pete Witt (Teresa) of Athens, Jana (Wayne), Jeanette (Doug) and Lowe of Etowah; her nieces and nephews, Jason Witt (Amanda), Nikishi Witt (Travis), Greene, Kagan Witt, Aaron Haggart, Justin (Amber), Wendy (Jason), Giles, Matthew Mellott (Brittany), Kacy Guffey (Zach) and Fowler; her cousin Princess Arwood of Madisonville; and her close friend Gary Hester of Calhoun. She is also survived by Several great nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
