He is survived by: his wife Peggy Coleman Burger of Englewood; his daughter Dawn; his son-in-law Kent Powell of McMinnville; his grandsons, Coley and Caleb Gunderson; his siblings, Katye Hunt (Don) of McDonald and Steve Burger (Kathy) of Athens; and his sister-in-law Edna Burger of Salsbury, NC. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
