He was predeceased by: his wife Zee Ellen Pickel; and his daughter Debora "Debby" Allen. He is survived by: his daughter Anita Kay; his son-in-law Marvin Preast; his son Charles "Chuck"; his daughter-in-law Donna Pickel; and his grandchildren, Erika Stroud, Amanda Miller and Daniel Preast. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
