She was predeceased by: her parents, Arley Benjamin and Nancy Louise Williams; her husband Fleetes Edward Barnett; her son Fleetes Edward Barnett Jr.; and her siblings, Margie Wilson, Jane Moates, Jerry Williams and Ralph Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Perry (Glenn) of Pensacola, FL and Joe Barnett (Glynis) of Cleveland, TN; her grandson James Edward Barnett (Stephanie); and her sister Annette Swafford. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
