Alyssa Grace Jenkins Obituary
Alyssa Grace Jenkins, of Englewood, TN, had unexpectedly and tragically passed away on September 3, 2023 around 12:30 a.m. due to a car accident. She was born on September 28, 2005 in Hannibal, Missouri. In March 2006, she and her parents returned home to Englewood, TN. She attended and graduated Englewood Elementary School and was a 2023 graduate of McMinn Central High School. She was not yet employed but dreamed of a career in childcare.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, John (Bart) Jenkins; her maternal grandparents, Melvin and Mary Baker.
Alyssa leaves behind her parents, James "Luke" and Carri Hutchison; two sisters, Ashley Jenkins and Delilah Hutchison; one brother, Silas Hutchison; grandparents, Johnny and Judy Jenkins; as well as numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11a.m. – 2 p.m. at Englewood Church of God, located at 9 Church St, Englewood, TN, 37329, with funeral services to follow. Graveside services will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery at 4p.m., located at 121 County Road, 470, Englewood, TN.
Although she was taken from this world far too soon, we know she is in heaven surrounded by our loved ones who have gone on before us. She was an angel on this earth and is now our angel in heaven. She is and will be missed by everyone who had the honor and privilege to know this sweet, loving and beautiful young lady.
