He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Becton Sr. and Ruby Becton; and his brothers, Tommy, Roosevelt and Ed Becton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tessie Becton, Belinda Becton-McAbee and Anessa Becton-Howard; his grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron Smitherman, Monique, Marquis, Masai McAbee, Taylor and Janay Howard; his great grandchildren, Ava Turner, Anthony Jr., Aubree, Aaron Jr. and Abigail Smitherman; and his sisters, Esther Eaves, Lorrene Watson and Doris Rupel.
