He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay and Myrtle Lucille Bevels Pierson; and his brother Charles Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Martha S Pierson of Elkton; his sons, James Wesley Pierson of Pulaski and John Clay Pierson (Merry Beth Blue) of Chattanooga; and his granddaughters, Abigail Joy Pierson and Molly Beth Pierson.
